About Us

We are a family run business based in Bristol and have over 20 years experience in waste management, this allows us to run a one stop, highly reliable and competitive service to both domestic and commercial customers.
A lot of our work comes from word of mouth and recommendations most of which is repeat business which reflects our commitment to provide an excellent service to all of our customers.
We cover Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas and pride ourselves on ensuring your skip is delivered and collected on time.

Lee Bateman
Managing Director

Making decisions on how the company moves forward always keeping customer service at the core of what we do. In his spare time he enjoys food, wine and climbing.

Lee Graham
General Manager

Lee makes sure the staff are safe, the company is compliant and you, the customer, are happy. His down time includes Formula 1 and motorbikes.

Mark Bateman

Mark founded the business over 20 years ago and has seen it grow from a single truck to the 18 trucks we have today. Mention the words ‘Cider’ and/or ‘Rugby’ and you’ve got a story with a laugh guaranteed.

Debbie Bateman

Debbie is always doing something, even if it’s just a few little things to make your day easier. Her keen eye on every corner means very little goes un-noticed; A penny drops and Debbie knows where, who and why it happened.

Carly Venn

Carly has been responsible for the accounts at Bateman Skips for over 10 years now. She will always greet you with a big friendly smile, a joke or singing the latest catchy tune on the radio.

Ashley Venn
Office Manager

Ash runs the office and all customer facing operations like a well oiled machine. You’ll recognise him from his cheerful chat, which usually involves jokes and talking about how City played on the weekend, classic.

Andy Walker
Finance Manager

In charge of the profits and the losses, reporting on them and forecasting our financial future. When he isn’t working with numbers Andy likes to get outside; which usually involves his dogs, a mountain bike or gardening.

Becky Maynard
Customer Service

Becky also takes your bookings and helps with the smooth running of the business front end. Becky’s interests include photography, walking her dog and spending quality time with her family.

Emily Hutchings
Customer Service

Ready to take your calls and return your emails, making sure everything goes smoothly from skip booking through to delivery and collection. Emily loves walking her dog and socialising with her friends.

Elliott Greenman
Digital Marketing Executive

Elliott takes care of all things digital. In his spare time he likes to keep fit, listen to music and read about anything and everything within popular culture. He will then tell you about what he’s learnt, whether you’ve asked for it or not.
