In 2018 we recycled over 80,000 tonnes of waste, diverting it from Landfill.
The waste is brought back to our fully licensed recycling facility in Keynsham Bristol. We then use our state-of-the-art waste segregation technology to recover as much recyclable material as possible.
We want to avoid sending any waste to landfill and our aim to be 'Zero Waste to Landfill' by 2020.
It is then weighed on our certified weighbridge.
We extract the items that are recyclable via physical and mechanical treatment methods, therefore reducing the waste that would otherwise be sent to landfill.
After the items are sorted, they are separated and sent on to the next destination, for further processing.
Construction waste such as bricks, rubble, concrete & stone (also called ‘recycled aggregates’) are sent onwards to approved partners and re-used in different building and construction processes.
Soils and screened fines are mainly recovered for use in land development. All metals collected from our waste streams are sent for onward reuse and reprocessing. Wood is taken to a recycling facility and mainly used for biomass fuel.
We offer account services to regular customers, or those with high volumes of waste – therefore increasing efficiency and reducing tipping times.
